The Spa
Lord & whisper Skin Care Spa is located in a 1200-square-foot original brownstone in Brooklyn, New York. There are two (2) treatment rooms and décor featuring high ceilings, the original fireplace with a wood mantle, wood floors, and touches of chocolate, mocha, and crimson. Therapies are focused on skin care and the spa's philosophy is, "At Lord & whisper, we restore, revitalize, and rejuvenate the skin." Treatments include custom-blended facials, Swedish and sports therapy massages, back exfoliation, and a lactic acid treatment for the back. The spa hosts monthly seminars and wellness events, spa parties, Mother's Day, Women's Day, and birthday party functions. Complimentary wine or non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price of packages.
Lord & whisper Skin Care Spa is owned by Kasey Ennis, a native Brooklyn, New Yorker. From the age of 9, Kasey experienced acne, blotchy, uneven toned, excessive oily skin. Throughout her teen age and early adult hood years, she struggled to find the secret to great looking skin. After many expensive visits to the Dermatologist, she was finally seen by an Esthetician in the office. That one visit with an Esthetician was her last visit to the Dermatologist. She knew what her mission was.
In 1997 Kasey attended Christine Valmy International School in New York. Never the thought of owning her own business, continued to pursue her modeling career and worked full time at a hospital in Manhattan. It was not until the job that she loved so much and did it well began to slip right through her fingers before her very eyes. "I dropped my head on my desk and said o.k. Lord I hear you." Resigned from her job three weeks later.
Lord & whisper Skin Care Spa opened in November 2006. Kasey wanted to bring Great skin care to Brooklyn. It was always so exhausting to leave Manhattan after a nice relaxing skin care treatment and travel back to Brooklyn. She felt that Brooklynites do not have to cross the bridge for "Great" skin care, let's keep it right here. Lord & whisper has adopted the use of homeopathic products and a natural scrub for the body, She uses Christine Valmy, Aveda, and Clarins products at the spa. Using Brown Sugar Scrub to enhance body treatments toped off with whipped soy body butter in her signature scent "whisper" will leave you looking and feeling sexy, silky, and smooth.
At Lord & whisper, Kasey not only has custom blended facials but reflexology, Swedish Body Massages, Skin Lightning Treatments, Chemical Peels, Lactic Acid Treatments, waxing, hand poured soy candles, all natural brown sugar scrub, whipped soy body butter, vegetable glycerin soap in delicious exciting scents and complementing bubbly shower gel and creamy lotions to keep the "Spa Glow".
